Garden City Panthers FC was founded in mid-2003 in Port Harcourt Nigeria, and was named after the greenery and tranquility that the city of Port Harcourt is proud of. The club is a multi-dimensional development center where footballers can receive the necessary quality focus in the areas of training, coaching and support required to guide footballers towards a potential professional career through a targeted approach. To this end, the club has a group of professional and experienced football experts, who have found a balance between football training and education to help each player become a star.

Garden City Panthers makes its debut at our tournament, making it the first Nigerian club to visit Ruurlo. The Nigerians came into the picture through the organization of the Den Bosch International Tournament. The Nigerian U14 team takes part in this during the Pentecost weekend and the club wanted to take their U19 team to our country. A week after Pentecost, the U19 team will also participate in the Terborg Tournament.
