Four days to go and then the 36th edition of the Karel Stegeman Toernooi will start.
After the opening ceremony, the first matches will be played at 13:00. On the Textieldruk Ruurlo field, the teams of VV Ruurlo and Vitesse open the tournament and on the Kasteelboerderij field Halmstads BK and Grasshopper Club Zürich kick off the tournament. Two days later, Rupo, the well-known mascot of Reurpop, kicks off the last match, the final.
The three-day festival Reurpop in Ruurlo has been taking place annually since 2008. Also this year the festival will be held a week after the Karel Stegeman Toernooi on 10, 11 and 12 June and this time the festival has a very interesting line-up.
The organization of Reurpop is in the hands of the Foundation ‘De vrienden van Reurle’. This foundation consists of various groups of friends between the ages of 15 and 70. Before, during and after the Reurpop weekend, more than 500 volunteers are active to make the festival a success. Without all these volunteers, Reurpop is not feasible.
