Organisation committee

Since the start in 1985 the Organisation Committe of the Karel Stegeman Tournament exists of 3 persons. During the years there have been several changes. The current Organisation Committee consists of:

The 3-days tournament is played every year during the Pentecost weekend. De dates for the coming years:

2012: 26, 27 and 28 May
2013: 18, 19 and 20 May
2014: 7, 8 and 9 June

Host Families

All foreign players will be housed at hosting families during their stay in Ruurlo. This applies also for some Dutch teams. Counselors and trainers are housed at hotel Avenarius in Ruurlo, which is located 300 meters from the sport park. Because of the hospitality and spontaneity of about 90 hosting families we are able to house about 160 to 180 palyers every year.  
During the Pentecost weekend from Friday untill Monday all the hosting families to their utmost to make the stay of their guests as pleasurable as possible. Many hosting families still have a warm contact with players they where housing in the past and even spend holidays with their former guest(s).
